Make a Difference – Partner with Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes

The staff and residents of Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes value the long-standing partnership with the Kiwanis Club Georgia District of Key Club International, and are grateful for the service, love and leadership given to our young people.

The Key Club is a large and distinguished service program for high school students with over 150 chapters throughout the state. This student-led organization emphasizes leadership through service to others, focusing on caring for others and building community. The Georgia District of Key Club International is sponsored by Kiwanis Clubs. The Georgia Key Clubs adopted the children of Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes more than 20 years ago. Since that time, Key Club members have devoted themselves not only getting to know Youth Homes’ residents and providing friendships and encouragement, but also to major developments on the campuses.

Some projects and special events include:

The Office/Education Center at Pineland/Camp Pioneer
Education Center at Cherokee Estate
Christmas parties and gifts every year at each campus
Griffin Evans Scholarship given annually to a graduating senior
Sports/Fun Day
Visits to each campus each year
A new Pineland Chapel

We are looking for clubs, associations, groups or families who would be interested in sponsoring a special project or event. If your organization would like to partner with Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, please contact us at 770-914-1076 for more information.
