In April 2009, fifty-one teams gathered for the Third Annual Statewide Golf Tournament at Eagles Brook Country Club in Henry County. Hosted by LPGA golfer Nancy Lopez, the event raised $60,000 for Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes.
In May 2009, The Gilmer County Sheriff ’s Office & Sheriff Stacy Nicholson held its 2nd Annual Georgia Youth Homes’ Fundraiser Clay Shoot at Noontootla Creek Farms. The event raised over $5,000 to benefit the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes. The winning team was sponsored by Bill Holt Chevrolet.
Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes is greatly appreciative of the support provided by sheriffs' offices and organizations throughout the State of Georgia who give their time and efforts in hosting special events.
